[1] Nthabeleng Nkoko [South Africa] holds a PhD in Consumer Science from the University of the Free State in South Africa, her doctoral research focuses on food and nutrition security and commercial agriculture. She is affiliated to the National University of Lesotho and is a food and nutrition security consultant. Her research explores the intersections of agriculture, food security, nutrition and climate change within the sustainable development framework. Her work also includes capacity building, promoting and advocating for the adoption of sustainable food systems and healthy diets. In recent years, she has authored, published and presented research articles on climate adaptation strategies, food security and nutrition.

[2] Sri Ayu Andayani [Indonesia] earned her Professorship in 2025 at Universitas Majalengka, Majalengka, Indonesia. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Science from Universitas Padjadjaran. She also holds a Master's and Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. She is currently a Professor of Agribusiness at Universitas Majalengka, Indonesia, and has published scientific articles focusing on Agricultural Development, Agricultural Economics, and Agribusiness. Sri Ayu Andayani has built networks within the policy community, ensuring that her research findings effectively influence decision-making processes, thereby contributing to positive change and prosperity for Farmers in Indonesia.

[3] Adane Melak Beyene [Ethiopia] is an Agricultural Extension Researcher at the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research (EIAR). He earned his BSc degree in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension from Haramaya University in 2006 and completed his MSc in Rural Development through a joint program between University College Cork and Hawassa University in 2012. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Rural Development, specializing in Agricultural Commercialization and Rural Institutions, at Haramaya University, Ethiopia. His research interests span agricultural technology adoption, participatory technology evaluation and selection, scaling science, seed systems, crop commercialization and diversification, as well as food and nutrition security.

[4] Dr. Felix Owusu Sarkwa [Ghana] is a Senior Research Fellow at the Livestock and Poultry Research Centre, University of Ghana, Legon. His research interests are forage science, ruminant nutrition, climate smart livestock production and sustainable ruminant production. He is a core member of a team of experts executing a project with the theme: Ghana Tier 2 Cattle Greenhouse Gases Inventory. He is also the principal investigator of a project with the theme: The use of local oils in promoting climate smart ruminant production. Dr. Sarkwa is a steering committee member of Australia African Universities Network for Early Career Researchers.

[5] Katie Ayling [The Netherlands] is an external PhD candidate with the Global Nutrition group at Wageningen University & Research and works as a Nutrition Specialist at the R&D Centre of FrieslandCampina. Her doctoral research focuses on understanding the nutrition landscape in Côte d’Ivoire and evaluating a fortified dairy intervention within Nigerian school feeding programs. With a background in industry-based nutrition, her interests include examining key nutritional challenges and contributing to the development of context-specific strategies to support improved diets, with particular attention to affordability.

[6] Rajan Raj Pandey [Nepal] earned his Bachelors in Civil Engineering in 1984 from PU, India, Masters in Environmental Engineering in 1999, TU, Nepal and is pursuing PhD in Engineering (2018- 2025, Lincoln University, Malaysia). Currently, he teaches Masters and Bachelors Students in, National Open College, Pokhara University, Nepal. He is experienced in Watersupply, Wastewater, FSM, SWM, Urban Drainage, Disaster Preparedness & Response, Irrigation & Water Resources and Environmental & Social Safeguards in countries like; Tonga, Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Iraq, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe in both Development and Emergency Management contexts with Government, UN, (I)NGOs and Consultants.

[7] Dr.Jutarat Wattanakul [Thailand] is an Assistant Professor of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Home Economics Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Thailand. She holds a PhD (Food Sciences) from University of Nottingham, UK, MSc (Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Phytochemistry) from Mahidol University, Thailand and BSc (Biochemistry) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. She has published research articles in various international journals. Her research focuses on chloroplast, green plant materials, agricultural waste, bioactive compounds, lipophilic nutrient stability, and in vitro digestion of lipophilic compounds.

[8] Charity Muchoki [Kenya] holds a Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology and is currently pursuing her PhD in the same field. She serves as a Principal Scientist at the National Commission for Science, Technology, and Innovation (NACOSTI) in Kenya, within the Agricultural, Environment, and Natural Resources Department. She has a strong passion for research ethics, with over seven years of experience as a member of the National Scientific and Ethics Committee (NSEC) secretariat and is a member of the Bioethics Society of Kenya. Charity is a researcher deeply committed to the utilization and preservation of African Indigenous vegetables. Since 2009, she has been a reviewer for the African Journal of Food, Agriculture, Nutrition and Development (AJFAND), contributing her expertise to the journal's success.

[9] Hellen Uwane [South Africa] is a registered Dietitian with a Master of Science in nutrition, graduated from Sefako Makgatho Health Science University. She has clinical experience in both psychiatric settings and community, including practice at a psychiatric hospital where her interest in the connection between nutrition and mental health deepened. Her academic and professional work is grounded in evidence-based nutrition in psychiatric conditions. Driven by curiosity and compassion, Hellen is committed to advancing the field of nutritional psychiatry through interdisciplinary collaboration, continued research, and practical application. She welcomes opportunity to contribute to publications, clinical programs, and research initiatives that explore the complex relationship between nutrition and mental well-being.

[10] Dr. Tebogo Mokumako [Botswana] earned her PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, supported by a scholarship from the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM). She is also an alumna of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), obtaining an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Currently, she works as a lecturer at the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Mokumako has co-authored and published a few articles in the field of economics, with her main areas of interest including food security, productivity and efficiency, and finance.

[11] Dr. Amynah Janmohamed [Kenya] has over two decades of experience in global public health research, program design, implementation, and evaluation. Her work has focused on maternal and child health, nutrition, and health systems strengthening, with a strong emphasis on integrating local context with scientific evidence to guide policy and practice. She has played a key role in advancing HPV immunization programs across multiple countries. Dr. Janmohamed holds degrees in economics and public health from Tufts University and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a PhD from the University of British Columbia

[12] Yesbek Morales [Mexico] holds a degree in Gastronomy from the Culinary Institute of Mexico, a degree in Tourism Administration from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, Master in Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and a PhD in Organizational Management from the Universidad Popular Autónoma del Estado de Puebla. Author of three books and several indexed and divulgation articles published in national and international scientific magazines of the gastronomic and tourism area with the research line: Management for the development of the gastronomic and tourist organizations and Gastronomic Heritage of Mexico.

[13] Rosemary Emegu Isoto [Uganda] earned her PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics from The Ohio State University, USA. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agribusiness and Natural Resource Economics (DANRE) at Makerere University, Uganda. Before joining DANRE, she was a Post-doctoral Fellow at Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy in Boston, USA. Her main research focuses on interlinkages between agriculture and nutrition among rural households, financing and marketing matters, provision of extension services in a decentralized setting, environmental issues among others. Her work carefully recognizes the critical role gender plays in improving household well-being.

[14] Pius Mathi [Kenya] He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a PhD focused on product development using baobab and hibiscus. He lectures at Kabarak University and serves as President of FoSTeP-K. With over 15 years in food processing, he consults on food safety, quality systems, and innovation. Pius is a technical reviewer at AJFAND, a KEBS committee member, and part of the Nakuru County Food Fortification Alliance. He’s received global recognition, including awards from the Chicago Council (2015) and IFT (2016). He mentors young scientists and believes mindset shapes one’s limits.
