This special issue will cover:

AJFAND is an internationally recognized publishing journal that covers a wide range of scientific and development disciplines, including agriculture, food, nutrition, environmental management and sustainable development related information. Its primary audience consists of scientists, researchers, policy makers, students and non-Governmental populace whose profession and/or interest lie in sustainable development, agriculture, food security and nutrition. A secondary audience includes a wide range of people such as journalists, lecturers, opinion leaders, who work in various sectors that provide information through newspapers, magazines, lectures, website, radio, television, traditional dance and drama. AJFAND is open to both African and non-African contributors; the contributions must, however, interest African readership.
The mission of Food First is to end the injustices that cause hunger. Its mission is carried out through research, education, and action. The goal is not only to continue a 40+ year legacy, but to broaden actions aimed at amplifying BIPOC-led voices in the communities and movements that expose the root causes of hunger, mobilize local food system implementation strategies, and advance real solutions for food justice and sovereignty.
