Dr. Tapelo Blessing Nkambule is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Agriculture and Animal Health at the University of South Africa (UNISA). He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agriculture from the University of Mpumalanga, where his research focused on conservation agriculture, food security, and climate resilience among small-scale farming communities in South Africa.
His research interests include agricultural extension, food systems, climate change adaptation, sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, rangeland sustainability, and digital agriculture. His work employs interdisciplinary and mixed methods approaches to generate evidence that supports sustainable agricultural development and informs policy and practice.
Dr. Nkambule has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in agricultural extension, climate adaptation, conservation agriculture, and smallholder farming systems. He is also an active peer reviewer for national and international journals and is committed to promoting rigorous, constructive, and high-quality scholarly research. As an early-career researcher, he is passionate about advancing evidence-based solutions that strengthen the resilience and sustainability of farming communities across Africa.
