Dear friends and colleagues, this will be our last issue of AJFAND for this year. In 2017, 90 papers have been published. We have benefited from the support of many committed scientists across the globe, as reviewers, authors and as readers. We wish to express our appreciation to each one for the enormous show of support we continue to receive.

We wish each one of you happy holidays with family and a safe and joyful ushering in of the New Year. As we look forward to another busy year, I would like to highlight the Congress below, whose preparations I am heavily involved in.
