SAJE aims at playing a pivotal role in addressing its challenges to ensure that the journals are raised to international standards. It is based in Kenya, where the secretariat is based. It works and networks with other existing similar societies, for a common goal. It is promoted by releasing a press to popular media, putting editorial in African and international journals, advocacy among international organizations and governments, disseminating information through a SAJE brochure and establishing a SAJE web page. SAJE's zeal is to reach out to all regions of the continent and recruit members. French and Arab translations in journals are recommended.
