Capacity Building

The Society is currently witnessing an increase in the number of learning institutions, a phenomenon that reflects the huge demand among young Africans to expand their knowledge and improve their skills, especially in publishing. Against this changing background young people need to develop their capacities in research and dissemination of results. SAJE, strives to ‘ pass on the baton' by building and strengthening the young scholarly authors, editors, reviewers through the following elements:

Training (Seminars and Workshops ) is a key component of any capacity-building program.

Exposure of young Africans to international scholars and their interaction with foreign-trained colleagues is another key factor in advancing their scholarship.

Dissemination of knowledge created through training and research activities, providing young authors and reviewers with the opportunity for their papers to be widely discussed, and with new teaching materials as a lasting legacy. Dissemination will include both electronic and printed publication of conference papers and field project findings, to include limited translation of essential material. Others include Individual and team projects, attending local and international conferences and international exchanges / training abroad

Reviewers and supervisors are expected to provide professional and moral commitment.
