PROFILE

One of our most committed, young, peer reviewers!

Dr. Henry Gadaga graduated with a first degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Zimbabwe, before obtaining a Master of Science (Food Science) (University of Reading, UK) and PhD (Food Science) (Agricultural University of Norway). He worked as Analytical Chemist specialising in Food Analysis and Food Legislation at the Government Analyst's Laboratory in Harare, before his current appointment as a Lecturer in Food Science and Technology at the University of Zimbabwe. Dr. Gadaga is currently involved in research on fermentation and upgrading of indigenous technologies, quality assurance, and food safety. He is also involved in nutrition issues and trained as a trainer in PROFILES. He is married with two children. Dr. Gadaga lives in Harare and believes that African intellectuals should work on the continent and be facilitated to make their money in Africa, for it is in Africa where they are required to make a positive difference.
