Dear Readers

I am happy to use the release of this AJFAND issue No.22 to wish each one of our friends, readers, collaborators, authors, development partners and especially reviewers a most productive and rewarding year 2009.

May this publication continue to serve each one of you in your work. I thank all those who continue to support us in their various ways, those who have newly offered to be reviewers, and those who have invited us to collaborate with them.

Together with the next issue, we shall post a standing piece on AJFAND's Quality Assurance process to demonstrate our efforts and commitment towards meeting as high international standards as possible. In 2009 we wish to invest in training of our secretariat staff including student interns, networking with university and research centre teams of authors and reviewers, and looking out for new reviewers while keeping our long-term dedicated reviewers on-board. We intend also to continue to look for opportunities to generate income for the journal through publication of special issues for conferences and other relevant professional gatherings.
