The tracking is independently done and will, we hope, become refined as we go along so we can at least identify the source of a hit. More importantly, we hope to get the journal indexed. This can only happen if we sustain production of a quality journal which is accessed by many of you. So we are relying a lot on you and our friends, for visits to the website, suggestions on how we can improve, identification of funding sources, offers to review and sending in manuscripts.

Funding continues to be a challenge. I have to sustain a team of 6 people to concentrate on the journal on a more or less full time basis. Reviewers are just as important as authors. We do not pay our reviewers but we continue to profile and give visibility to those who have been faithful to us.

Please write to me if you can serve as a reviewer. Many of our reviewers have become elevated professionally in the course of being associated with us and that makes us proud. We would like to share your good news of professional elevation with others.

So my appeal is towards more financial support and more offers to review.

We thank our authors for their patience. Sometimes it takes long for a manuscript to be published.

Please bear with us. As we streamline our process, we hope to try and catch up with the backlog of manuscripts, and also speedup the whole process.

Below is the list of manuscripts in this issue:

•  Impact of micro-enterprises on health and nutritional status of children in sub-Saharan Africa: the case of Malawi – Abdi-Khalil Edris
