The Chester Food and Environmental Science Week 2010 will be held at the University of Chester from the 22nd to 26th March 2010, and comprises of three conferences:
22nd – 24th March: The Second International Chester Food Science and Technology meeting (ICFST)
24th March: The 5th National Meeting on Environmental Mass Spectrometry (EMS 2010)
25th - 26th March: Nanotechnologies for food and consumer products

IPC 2010 will be the scientific forum where academic and industrial scientists involved in research of all aspects of probiotics and prebiotics meet. The key themes will be evidence-based benefits of the use of probiotics and prebiotics, health claim substantiation and new product development.

The Bioavailability 2010 conference on micronutrients will be held at Asilomar, California, September 26-30, 2010. Asilomar is a state funded facility, beautifully located on the Pacific Ocean between Monterey and Carmel, south of San Francisco.
We anticipate some 150-200 participants.
The Bioavailability 2010 conference has the following major themes:
1) The role of bioavailability when setting recommendations (DRI, DRV)
2) Genetic/individual influences on bioavailability
3) Biofortification
4) Bioavailability - applied studies and advances in methodology.
